I have put on a new smaller steering wheel on my 1973 Duster 340 and the turn signal arm is now near where you are gripping and turning the wheel. Just curious what others have done to shorten or replace the arm ?

Thanks

I stuck the first one in my vise and broke it, discovering this is drill bit hard like so many other rods on automobiles.
With another I heated the bend with a brazing torch enough to change the angle then removed the plastic wand end and reworked the length at grinder and sander.
