Turn Signal Indicators Glow when Park Lights ON

I am in the process of getting all the bugs out of my 71 Demon 340 after repaint and reassembly. The turn signal indicators glow when the parking lights are on. Turn signals and park lights all work. I'm thinking a less than good grounding of the instrument panel is the most likely culprit. I did repaint the dash housing before reassembly. Anyone had a similar issue and resolution?

Probably either poor ground at the panel or the main lamps out front. I cannot remember, do the 71's have the blinking side marker lamps? Could be a feedback from them.

Check the ground on your front parklights. Clean the paint off where the ground wire is attached to the core support.
