Hello all, I have a 75 duster that I took my dash apart and installed aftermarket gauges. I never seen the lights work or even tried them when I bought the car. Long story short after doing engine swap, paint and interior, when I tried the turn signals nothing but the flashers would go on if I squeezed the flasher button. So I replaced the blinker and hazard flashers and bought a new turn signal switch. Now the flashers click like they are on. No lights flash at the dash. The flasher itself keeps clicking and getting very hot and only the rear taillights blink. When I turn the flashers on, then both the front and back blink like they are supposed to also in the dash. Then when I turn the key on and try the turn signals I still hear the clicking from the flashers and the opposite turn signal goes on. I thought the turn signal switch was defective, cuz I read the reviews after the fact and they had the same problem. I bought another one, and am having the same issue.
Any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks,

Sid

Just went thru this, had to solder a ground wire to each of the sockets, everything worked perfect after that. May not be your problem, take a jumper wire to the socket and just try to find a good ground before you solder.
