Well my duster is on the street now, until i get busted for equipment violations anyway, she now has street tires, head lights ,running lights, rear signals all wired to togo switches, glass packs off headers and 3.5 straight pipe to turn outs right in front of the rear tires (still loud) added another racing seat for the old lady can burn rubber effortlessly and endlessly brakes loose at highway speed its real fun. Also removed name on doors and performance decals and now running coolant, ALSO PUT ON SIDE MARKER LENSES.

So that's what those noises down there were!
Yes dave i can still put her on the track just put drag tires on and tranny blanket and go race if i get the erge. but i went to track 6 times this year and got not even 20 passes and i went on mopar day and 2 passes there was to many cars ,not all mopars either also a lot of delays due to failures, it realy turned me off to go through all that expense and effort for 2 passes, so i put her on the street so i can use her more and have fun.how have you been hope things are cool between us, things get a little heated on this site sometimes, thats why i have not been on here in awhile plus i work on both cars every night, painted the chevelle hot rod back with silver stripes here in the yard not easy under those conditions but it was cheap, ill live with it for now and get a real paint job someday when i can drop some coin. take care i might go to the swap meet at thompson today not sure yet i got a lot to do here in the yard and house.

Well now you can just say you're working out the bugs for drag week.

Do you have overdrive? From my experience, without overdrive, the side exit exhaust will wear do you down. It just revvs too high on the highway and the noise will eat at you on a long trip. I'm already looking to ditch mine in favor of a rear exit system at the end of the year.

No sweat Roger - cars are just cars and opinions are like... well you know. We all got 'em. Come up for a beer some time. I'm working ont hat '70 Cuda and have a B wedge stroker I'm going to be starting to build soon so there's stuff to look at...lol. I saw the Chevelle - you were wet sanding the black when I went by but I couldn't stop. Looked good tho.
You might recall me mentioning that you should look at closed track rentals if you want to get runs in... I never do test and tune days due to expense and lack of runs. Mopar Day has always been like you say and I don't attend those with a car anymore either due to money.
