I need twin hood scoops and have been considering OEM/used vs. repops. My '71 Dart has a set of poor-quality repops already on it--came with the car when I bought it. Poor fit where the scoop edges mate to the hood--can see lots of light under the edges and it's uneven. Practically embarrassing.
I recntly purchased a pair of repros from A/E&B, and the are nice but I haven't yet put them on because I think they will have similar mating issues--the bottom edges have been sanded and, sighting across the bottom edges, my eye tells me they are not perfectly flat and will not sit even.
I was just about to buy a set of originals on eBay, but came across the repops at "First Place Auto Products"

These are "MOPAR Authentic Restoration Products", so I'm guessing the quality is top-notch for reproductions.
My question is: Does anyone have any experience with these particular scoops and, if so, how is the quality as compared to OEM???
