I see a few ppl selling Sanderson Shorty Headers will these work on my 68 Dart 360engine, w/manual steering? I notice that they go straight down. Are these better than manifolds but not as good as headers?

Also I just bought a 360 w/a nicly build 727 behind it... the 727 has a new 3500 stall converter on it... What are ideal gears to run w/that high of stall? I was told 4.10 gears are... but this is a street rod.. I'm not saying I'm gonna take her on long road trips or even my daily driver but I'd like to enjoy her if I have to take her 25miles to a car show or sommin.... Are 3.23 to sm fo a 3500 stall or will it make my car feel slugish?

4.10 or 3.91 jsut got with a good size tire this is what im doing. 28in tire 25 miles is nothing now if it was like 100 then you would be 55 all the way but wth i drive 55 to save gas to school anyways
 
So what about w/these 295/50/15... they are 26.7"... are they to short?
 
Drive 55 mph! Did not know anybody drives that slow anymore. Me its 75 mph, max speed limit is 70 mph here and out west its 75 mph.

I have 3.91 with a 27" tire. Oh it can go much higher but on a long drive-and 25 miles is long, 3.55 would be nicer.

With gas so $$$ I go 3.55 but still I keep up with traffic on the freeway.

If you live in Canada, well maybe you can get away with driving 55 mph but here in Michigan you be a pain in the butt to everybody else on the 70 mph freeways.

In fact, 55 mph is the MIN. speed, you go any slower the police can ticketed you.
 
Anyone? What front tire size do you run on a 15" wheel? Wheel width? Backspacing?

Swapping a complete 75 Dart Sport disc brake K-member into my 71 Demon... don't have any idea as to what wheel & tire combo will work well on it!

haha stock ralley wheel sorry im done haha

uscg: 4:10 will be a nice gear just have to get use to it
 
I'm really liking the sound or 3.73 gears.... I can still drive on the HWY and go to the track right?
