So, I finished up the bottom of the car by finally putting in the relocation boxes. I was turned on to this raptor product from my buddy where I get my paint. It’s essentially a spray on bed liner kit. He had used it with a great deal of success at his shop, so I grabbed a kit from him and a quart of 70-71 plum crazy. The raptor takes the tint and dilutes very little. The far away pictures don’t really represent the color. I’m pretty happy with it. My friend wasn’t sure how the metallic would spray, but I think it looks great

Hi Ron, looks great. I'm thinking of the same stuff for the bottom. How did you prep? Primer? Did the Raptor take special tints or did you use paint and mix with it?

I did my trunk with Raptor. Its sprays nice and has a perfect texture.
I had already finished the bottom of my car or else I would have done that too.

Thanks Steve! I epoxied the bottom first. Albeit a month or two ago, so I had to scuff it up, laquer, tack cloth and spray.

Looks great Mike! I think I’m going to do my trunk now also. I was debating it, but I think you aided in my decision.

Can you please post a picture of the can ,the product came in thanx.

Good morning, i realize that this is an older thread but i have a question about mixing the paint to tint the raptor liner. I have single stage urethane paint, do i mix it up with the paint hardner and then add to the raptor kit or do i just pour out of my paint can into the raptor? Thanks Rich

Looks great. Gotta love those torque boxes and subframe ties.
