Ugly Bumper Check

I've got a 1974 Duster with a 1974 Dart front clip (done by previous owner). I have come to the conclusion that the U.S. Government sure knows how to mandate "ugly". Does anybody have any photos of solutions such as modified bumpers, front air dams, rolled rear pans, other brand bumper swaps, etc. Something other than the obvious swap back to earlier body parts. Post the photos and give me some inspiration. HELP

Going from a ‘73+ Duster front end to a ‘73+ Dart front end makes the nose even longer. Woah.

My friend has a 76 Maverick. Talk about ugly bumpers. They stick out about 3 feet.

Ditch the bumperettes. That will certainly help.

Then drill the shocks and pull the rear bumper in.

There are threads here if you search. One guy sectioned his bumpers and that was very nice

My friend has a 76 Maverick. Talk about ugly bumpers. They stick out about 3 feet.

I had a '74 Maverick. I got it FREE. I think that I still paid too much.
Those bumpers DID stick way the hell out there.
