i was doing the "junkyard crawl" at Pick and Pull for some Magnum heads (which I found...) and saw a 74 Valiant with power everything. I took the brake booster assembly as I know they are getting hard to find. What I didn't recognize until I got home is that the rod that goes in the cavity that pushes the piston on the back of the MC is gone! Did I buy a paperweight or is the rod still around somewhere...

I would think the rod is a pretty common piece. Go back and do a little crawling and I bet you can find one. I know the trucks used 'em and if I remember right, they were kind of an adjustable deal.

so its a swappable piece? the only other older Mopars out here are 5th Ave's and Fury's and stuff. How do you keep the whole thing from spinning so you can screw it out?
