Ultimate Muscle Car Project

I agree...$1K.

If the body was straight and painted, and the car was running, maybe $2K.

As it is, the driver's door looks creased, the interior appears to be all out. Lots of work, but a good project for no more than $1K.

...and those may be old pics. The CL ad says the radiator was stolen, but there's something there filling up the radiator opening.

The one with the creased door appears to be the spare rear window car as the rear wheel wells have been cut out in a circle and it is gold.

You got it...it makes sense now! My damn eyes are getting old, lol.

You would certainly need to see the car in person before knowing how much to offer. Might go a little more, but probably not over $2K.

I've seen those before........posted on here. They have been for sale for years

Thanks to all who offered an opinion. Sometimes it's difficult to see where the car market is at an any given time. It helps to have the shared knowledge of others to separate fantasy from reality, especially with ads that appear on craigslist. Combined, your efforts have saved an overeager friend from spending his money foolishly. Because of my enthusiasm for these big window cars they were concerned I wasn't giving them a forthright opinion regarding it's true market value vs. stated asking price thinking I had some desire for it given it's rarity as the "ultimate muscle car".
