Any issues about using an undersize crank in a slant? It's got .40 on the mains and .20 on the rods undersize in a rebuilt motor I bought from a local machine shop. It was a stock-type rebuild in 1990 or 91 and has sat in inside storage both at the machine shop and here at the house since I bought it a couple of years ago. I do know it has a MP or maybe that far back a DC windage tray and double roller timing set in it.

Nothing wrong with an undersize crank at all !! That's what the bearings are for,to make up the difference !! Only thing that I would do is pull it apart and redo the break in lube on the bearings just to be on the safe side.Couldn't hurt to put a little Marvel Mystery oil in the cylinders either ! But I'm sure there are far smarter than I that will speak up !!:walk:
