I not sure if this is a engine issue or elctrical, but need help to narrow down what it is. Heres the deal, my car sounds like it as a miss. I was messing with the exhaust last night and when it makes the miss noise, the exhaust flow is harder than the normal idel flow. It is also not consitant, sometimes it is every once and a while or sometimes a couple times in a row.
Any thoughts?

Thanks

It has always made that noise, but not sure about the flow. That was the first time I noticed the exhaust flow because it was the first time I messed with the exhaust at the same time it was running. My brother has a 74 Duster /6, he said it did the same thing.

The /6s always have a little "shimmy" in them. I've heard it described by others as a skip...it just happens to make that sound in the exhaust. Is the engine down on power? Is it exhibiting any issues like fouled plugs, smoking, noises, or vibrations? The first step in my "check out" routine is pull the plugs and inspect them well, and then take a compression reading. Any that seem "out of whack" I do a leak down on. Then go from there. Hard to tell much accurately from keeping your hand over a pipe...
