3rd or 4th time this was posted...but no one has been able to confirm it
i for one have not been able to find anything on the USCT website

Feb 2021 Mopar Action has them under Cool Stuff, latest products. Under license by Schumacher Creative Services. Hopefully...

Hopefully USCT will get their act together & finally get some of the Schumacher parts in the website in the very near future. I'm not holding my breath though.

I am honestly just getting ready to start design and building the 73+spool la to bb mounts.

If it is true that us cartool is making them. I would not start tinkering with that project.

Now i debate if its worth my efforts

Can't even buy their original products. I have looked at the relocation kit for years and always says back ordered.

I think this rumor is fulla ****.

Has anyone actually tried calling US Cartool? Or just talking crap? Clearly they’re advertising them, you don’t spend money on advertising for nothing.

I have their full stiffening kit on my Dart, it was easy to order and everything showed up right away.

I just posted a question about this on their Facebook page. Plus, I'm a big boy. I can talk all the crap I want. lol

This is like the third thread on this. And near as I can tell no one has bothered to pick up a phone and ask US Cartool what the deal actually is. Lot of speculation and theories about how this or that is a scam or a rumor, but all just just sowing circle BS.

It says right on their website they’re having “sporadic supply issues”, which is a common issue at the moment. Hotchkis is apparently having issues getting raw materials, some of their sway bars are months out. A quick look at Summit for parts and you’ll see a lot parts that aren’t on hand are months out. The shipping ports are all backed up.

USCT has been supporting Mopars for years with good service and one of kind parts. It’s a wonder anyone makes parts for these cars seeing how companies get treated around here.

But this has been going on for a few YEARS now with Schumacher. I get it. His wife is sick....or worse. I really hope not, but I read somewhere she has or had cancer. That's a *****. I lost both parents and a few friends from it. Seen friends and family suffer through it and survive. It's a terrible disease for sure.

Having said that, when you're running a business, business is business. He needs to put a general statement out about what his intentions are, personal problems be damned. He can take five minutes and let his past customers who've spent lots of money with him, plus those wanting to now. My heart goes out to the guy, but to not inform for years is unacceptable. There have even been people who've paid and received nothing. What about them? You can throw up all the "sporadic supply" issues you want, the fact is, nobody really knows because he's said so damned little. As far as I'm concerned, that's a poor excuse with no more explanation in such a long time.

US cartool is backed up. I sent a few emails back and forth about the mini tub kits being out of stock. They said that they make a run of parts and they are pretty much all spoken for. They haven't been able to get ahead and restock the shelves. I went ahead and ordered the tub kit and received it within a couple weeks.

Covid has caused a bunch of supply chain issues for manufacturers. And more people have been sitting at home with time to finish their project cars. Demand is up and supply is down. Give them some slack.

Yeah but that’s on Schumacher’s end, not US Cartool. If anything it’s a reason to cut USCT some slack, they’re the ones trying to step up and make this happen for the community even though they have to know about Schumacher and some of the issues around that business.

And yeah, even the much larger businesses are having supply and raw material problems right now.

I never was talkin about USCT other than to say the rumor was just a rumor. So far.

Jeez, just make the design out of scrap metal. Many of us have that ablilty to take a piece of 1/8 plate and bend it, drill it and weld it. Heck we got plenty of time on our hands..(some of us). Get back to hot rodding and start fabbing stuff. Don't wait on a company to get their **** in one bag to complete yours. You'll be a slave to their schedule.

Pictures forthcoming.

Here's my version of early A body big block mounts. I shortened the mount bushing to fit into the 318 truck mount brackets. Once the engine and transmission is located on the cross member, I'll get it correct right to left and height wise and locate the through bolt holes in the brackets and drill them, then locate the holes on the mount brackets to line up with the slots in the K frame mount pads and bolt it all in. The bushings are old and I am only using them for mock up purposes. I'll get new poly bushings for the final product and paint everything up nice of course.

I was setting up to do the spool mounts. Then heard usct may do them.
I am waiting on the rubber inserts to create a first one, seems like the ones i want are on backorder.

I decided to do this a little differently. Rather than hacking up the bushings and shells, like I did here, I'm going to leave the next bushing shells the stock length and widen the 318 truck mount brackets, or perhaps make some similar that are wider. That way, I don't have to hack anything up and it will look nice like a factory job.

The spool mount is the easiest. I hate Schumacher's design as you have to cut the driver side saddle short and drill a new hole. Just take the time to build a Direct Connection k-member and use stock mounts. Some of his other mounts allow you to go back to the original engine, but not easily with the V8 spool mount stuff. No need to spend the money or time to reinvent the wheel unless you're doing was Rob is doing and stuffing it into an early A.

Finding a spool mount k member is like finding a needle in a haystack.

I have one but its in the car with a sb already installed. If i could find another one locally i would go that route

By the numbers there are far more 73+ A-body K’s than anything else. ‘74 was the highest production year for the Duster.
