I think I've got a handle on most of the swap requirements, but one thing that's throwing me off is the fuel pump. I'd like to use the magnum pulley setup, but I'd also like to use my LA engine fuel pump. I know the camshaft is different, can a magnum timing cover be used with a LA style camshaft and pump?

I just came across the article on Hughes engines that anwswered my question. No. Now I need to decide if I want to convert to an electric pump or not

Put an electric pump in the tank and run the injection!!!!

I thought about that at one point but I do t have the efi stuff I'd need like a harness or computer. I could got with an aftermarket efi on an air gap intake down the road

do you have a pull a part close by or car part . com? $100-200 is cheaper than a carb with enough left over to get an electric fuel pump

Just don't.

I had one of those adapters almost come off which would have been catastrophic.

Was torqued in place and used loctite red. 30+ year Mopar line tech.

Same bolt used is holding the stock washer in place now and I went to an electric pump hanging off the frame rail, that was several years ago now and the car has been flawless.
