Vacuem advance question.

Hi all, hope someone can help me out with a "basic" issue.
I have a 73 Dart, 318 2bbl which never had the vacuem advance connected to the distributor so, where do I connect the vacuem line to?
There is a port on the side of the carburator about mid way up on the passanger side, do I connect there, to one of the ports at the base of the carb or directly to the port on the manifold.

Put it at the spot you first listed. This is were it is at on my '72 Scamp.
