I am pulling my blown 170 out of my 68 dart and installing a 225 out of a 74 duster. The 225 came with a vacuum solenoid, a vacuum amplifier, and a mess of vacuum lines. My dart doesn't have all of this junk and I wonder if it is all necessary. If anyone has any advice or a diagram, It would help me out. Thanks!!

Use the carb off your '67 engine and leave all the '74 smog stuff off. I'd keep the electronic distributor and get the rest of the parts to do a conversion from the points system but you can swap it over later if you just need to get it running.

Thats a great idea. What exactly do I need to complete the electronic ignition?? I have the electronic distributor and the coil, but thats it.

You'll need the control module, some wiring with the module plug, and a transistorized voltage regulator.

Plumb your vacuum lines like the 68. Use the 68 manifolds to get rid of the EGR as well. Same with the older valve cover if it has less brackets and crap on it.

Thanks to everyone for your help. Just finished the swap and everything works great!!
