I'm planning to install a new headliner. I've done an E body before but not an A body. A few questions a) does the rear glass have to come out? b) if so, does the glass push out of the rubber seal or does the glass and rubber come out together? c) best place to get the headliner? Alot of vendors don't seem to list a '68 Valiant. Is it the same as a Dart?
Thanks!

You should not have to take the back window out, I didn't when I did mine and it went in fine.
B) I don't remember
C) The Dart and Valiant rear windows are different and so are the sail panels. So they would not be the same.

The seal around the rear window has a large lip that if you push it away from the window you will see metal tabs that look like sharks teeth under it to hold your headliner. I used a nylon or plastic body putty spreader to push the headliner under the rubber and onto the teeth which worked out just fine. To make sure it was a good tight fit what I did was actually wrap the new headliner around the spreader to pull it tight then pushed it into place. Make sure you have the headliner centered and start in the middle. Good luck!
