So been a week or two,Got the trany back all refreshed,New alum front drum,New alum servo's,new red bands,new clutches,Torrington bearings through out,New a& a transbrake valve body,Out put shaft was bent so that is replaced,New roller back support,Ultra sprague and new front steel planetary gear, Didn't get it back in time to Race last week end cause we are battling dip stick leak problem !!!!!!! We got the drive shaft balanced it was off 50 thousands so they straightened it,We can't wait to see what the car will do now,The trany guy said it should be night and day because of the shape the trany was in,Heading out Friday we hope if the rain stays away,We also had the convertor cut apart and checked,All was good he just replaced the bearings inside and said it was the thing to do while it is apart,So I will report back after a few runs--Thanks Steve
 
aluminium drum,,,,make sure you follow the band adjustment and fluid change requirements for it......from what I have read...need more frequent adjustment and fluid change....
