ok, if you have read my other thread, i was going to buy a gutted 71 340 manual car for 1,500.00. it has a title, but no fender tag or build sheet. today i went and looked at a 73 340 auto car the the only rust in the car is the trunk pan and behind where the back bumper goes. it has a fender tag, but no build sheet. well, i left a deposit on the car, so it is mine.
i have decided to still get the 340 manual car and take the pedals, 8 3/4, and the a-body dual hood scoops off and maybe cut the tunnel out to swap the 73 to a 4-speed. also i may put the 71 front end on the 73. i will only do that if i cannot sell the 71 as a solid shell. ill probably sell the dual hood scoops too.
