Valve cover question

Hi,
If I change out my valve covers to one's which only have 1 hole on each, can I use 1 for pcv and the other for a breather and just use the breather for adding oil.

Yep. That’s how I have mine setup

One on each side has been that way for decades.

Some time in the 70s they added a second oil filler. I suspect due to other things blocking access.

Wouldn't have it any other way.
