I have a 1970 Dart 340, does anyone know if anybody makes factory style valve covers or do I have to buy used. Does the 318 of that year fit? What years will work and still have the correct tabs and spark plug wire extensions?

AMD is/was making them. All small block will fit but the wire routing changes year to year.

318 will fit, just won’t be 100% correct…best to get the 70-74 318 ones, they have less brackets on them. The 1970-71 340 covers can be hard to find, I think AMD was making them, not sure if they are in stock or not

Here is a thread I posted, the covers are chrome but correct 70-71 340 ones would have been orange

I have a set of 1974? covers I had on my 68 340. Has old school black factory breather and wire loom brackets with them. If interested PM me I can dig them out and take some pics.
