Valve guide cutter

So after mock up I need to shorten the valve guides for more retainer to valve stem seal clearance. I have a cutter and arbor from from Comp Cams and my question is should this be used with lube or dry on the stock cast iron guide bosses?

Cutters and 1/2" drill worked out ok.

I used tap magic cutting oil on mine.
