Valve spring ID??

I got a set of casting 3462346 heads which should be the 70-72 open chambers, and they have dual springs and aluminum retainers. Must be aftermarket of some sort?

That's not a dual spring. It's a single spring with a flat wire damper. Big difference. Don't know what to think about the retainer.

Oh, did they ever come from the factory with the damper?
They aren't really anything to brag about are they?

that's after market stuff. if you would like to know what the spec at, like installed a 1.90" and say .500" lift send one to me and i'll check it out for you.
