Have had roller rockers installed in the 383 engine. After a couple of minutes when the lifter preload been set I can rotate the pushrod with the finger tips at the bdc. Before I set the preload I had the sparkplugs removed and had the engine turned over by the starter to have the lifters filled. Is it normal to be able to rotate the pushrod like this after the preload been set?

Yes, its normal. Dont run too much preload... Good way to wipe out a cam. Ask me how i know hahha
