I have a Quick Fuel carb on my 440. Today I had the air cleaner off doing some work under the hood and while the engine was running I saw vapor coming out of the front bowl vent. The fuel level while the engine is running is right in the middle of the sight glass. The engine seems to run OK, but the major issue I have is that after it sits overnight there is no fuel showing in the sight glass. Guessing it's boiling off.

Any thoughts?

Condensate?
Corn gas?

Get the bowls full while the engine is cold then wait overnight to see if it disappears.

When all new cars went to fuel injection and a sealed fuel system (mid to late 80s), our 'friends' in the petroleum industry took the stabilizers that used to be in all gas out of it, and there goes the gas in your fuel bowl, out the vent. Add to that, the fact that ethanol evaporates more slowly than gas and you end up with hydrophilic (water attracting) ethanol at the bottom of the bowl and corrosion in your carb...
