Vbelt Size

How do you measure a V belt size if you dont have the belt? I need 2 v belts fir the power steering and the alt belt on my 5.9

Set your adjustments to the middle of the range. Run a piece of small dia. rope or wire around the pulleys, tie it off. Take it to the parts store and they will size it.

I got a ball park length by doing the same thing and then I bought three belts 1/2 inch apart. I took back the leftover belts once I figured out which belt was perfect.
