Velour bench in a Dart ?

A buddy of mine's Dad has a 70 Dart - original 340, 4 spd car - he claims the car came with velour interior ? Never heard of it - supposedly he decoded the tag himself. Was this an option ?

Yep I sold a set of velour short back a-body buckets from an earlier model not long ago. Actually its a combination. Vynil with velour inserts. Even seen a 60/40 split bench in a Dart. Those are rare also.

Only velour I've seen original in an A-body were Valiant Broughams and Dart SEs. Legendary Interiors doesn't show one. If you like it, don't be dissuaded by me.

Try http://www.seatcoversunlimited.com to see if they have one you think would work as a replacement. They may be willing to do a set specially for you if they stock the fabric.
