Should run in the 9's once he gets it all figured out. But cool little car

a one of a kind real nice hotrod, I like the color and the 63 year but a 10.96 is no where near a 9. a little work on the chassis, looser front shocks and an 8" convertor and he'd be getting closer.
 
I agree. 10.96 is nowhere near 9's but it should get there eventually. I don't know the details of how he was running the car that night. It has a Mopar mega block in it that dyno'd 810 hp. In that car that is stripped down, 9's shouldn't be an issue.
 
A little update but no video on it but he got a 9.80 over the weekend so yes he was obviously taking her easy a few weeks ago. Said he's looking at getting a 200 shot of NOS now. Why is it that our cars are never fast enough? Lol!
 
What a cool car, it sounds healthy and looks just plain mean.
What does the car weigh?
 
Sounds and looks great . 9.80 , pretty good run , guess he's looking for 8's now ?
 
I'll see if he'll stick my GoPro in the car on his next run and get a good POV video and audio
