I recently added bucket seats to my 69 Swinger restoration. I bought a pair of used 68 buckets with headrests. My interior is white and the headrests blue. Problem: I need a color change and restoration. So here's what I did.

Great write up, inspired me to replace the worn out chrome strips on mine.
Took my time with a blow dryer to remove the old ones being careful not to tear
the headrests. Cleaned them up and put on the new 1/4" chrome strips ( w/ 3M
tape) I picked up off ebay for $1o, look like new!
