I just bought a brand new Holley Pro Dominator W2 tunnel ram from FABO member for my next engine. Can anyone share experiences with this intake? Like a fool, I sold my brand new Mopar M1 w2 tunnel ram last year thinking I wouldn't need it, never had a chance to use it. How do they compare?

They are horrible.

You should sell it to me

Yep. Junk.

I was going to buy it myself but was battling with my inner being about how much more crap I need laying around.

IMO, that piece is way better than the M1 TR's. I had the W-5 M1 TR and I hated the plenum and the shape of the runners where they meet the plenum.

That's a great piece. It was a pretty good price too.

Thanks for info,

Yellow Rose,

Would you happen to have a nice set of W2 closed chamber heads around?

I think, and it’s just my opinion, that the Holley Pro Dom TR is a better intake than the M1 TR. which I have. I agree, there is a TON of plenum in the M1. Very good for huge strokers on a race track.

What carbs and displacement is your setup Rumble?

The TR W5 set up was on hold for something else recently completed. (Hopefully) I will get back into it come spring. Next step in this early stage is checking several blocks for best the candidate for a the job.

I’m looking for a max displacement with minimum over boring. The target is to soundly! go sub 10:00. It will be in a lightened ‘71 Duster.

I’m only a few steps into this process. Once the short block is done, I can start putting the engine together. Still need rockers, pushrod set up and a converter.

In this case, I see the large plenum W5 as a plus in this go fast build. I do not know for sure how well it will work out.

W2 build. 2 engines. Parts collecting stage. I was also looking at that intake with saliva dripping. As I think that would be crazy awesome on a light street car.

Looking to create a pair of street monsters. I’ll have to live with the pair of single plane 4bbl. Intakes I have now.
LMAO!
