Has anybody have real world experience between these two mufflers on which is actually the quietest muffler?

Performance is not part of the criteria only silence.
No interior sound, as little sound as possible at the exhaust tip is sought.

Thanks

One is advertising "sounds, the other is touting "quiet".
I would guess the quiet flow would be quieter.
I do NOT know that as fact, however.
Is one triple pass and the other straight thru?? Choose triple pass.

Extending the tail pipes will remove the noise from in the car.

I prefer to use walkers mufflers. The quiet flows are made better and are more effective. Use the biggest case that will fit the space. The soundfx are not straight through.

There are also tail pipe inserts that can be bought or made.

Just because I'm curious, is this a sleeper thing or do you just genuinely want a quieter car? I did a cam swap on my Viper a while back and have never been able to quiet it down since. Just not a lot of market for quiet with those cars, especially when you need 3" exhaust to go with it. Not a commonly searched set of terms it seems, lol.

Have used the FX-Sound mufflers on my Dual Exhaust 2" pipe system.

They are just basically a cheep tin can, don't muffle the sound very well. Too loud for my liking.

I ended up putting Resonators in the tailpipes at the rear bumper. That quieted it down nicely. Could still here it was a V8 when you got to it.

Mopar set them up that way with the resonators at the rear.

I used the quiet flows on my Barracuda . They dumped just before the rearend under the car. Not totally quiet but got rid of all the drone from the flow max I tried first.
.

Want it quiet, and still performs well?
Get the right size tubing thru the muffler for the engine combo...... then get the biggest, longest, fattest, thickest muffler that will fit under the car.

I put a QuietFlow on my truck, it was............wait for it.............quiet. I like them and will be using them on other cars as they come up for exhaust upgrades.
