Hello, we need a lower trunk trim piece for my wifes 1967 Barracuda. She got rear ended and the car has been repaired but the lower trunk trim piece was damaged beyond repair. What do you got?
 
I hunted about 8 years till I got a nice one, you better go with the repop. My old one is a little better than yours and Ive seen worse.
 
I have three mint sets, you are correct why would you want factory sets when you can get new? Have a nice day guys!!!
 
Be aware that the "repops" are not accurate. They sell the same piece for the top or the bottom. The factory top and bottom pieces are very different -- the faces are angled to match the edge of the taillight housing, so they line up correctly and the black stripe is aligned. If you take off your factory top piece and try it on the bottom, you will see what I mean -- it fits, but it doesn't line up properly, so as to make a smooth transition from the taillight stripe to the trim piece. Of course, this is moot if you can't find a good condition bottom piece, and they are pretty damn scarce. But I picked one up last year, so they are out there, for the right price $$$.
