instead of changing the center link try using truck motor mounts. they will raise your engine enough to get the clearence that you need. i've done it many times and never had any problems. good luck
 
first off - Sweet car in the avatar... I saw that at Carlisle a few years back. yours?


Second - I have hte motor shimmed now and all is well, but I am fitting TTI headers and need the engine back in the factory location to get it lined up - I have the thread the needle so to speak around the 1" torsion bars and dont have much room to spare.

Yes, thats my pride and joy,been finished since 2004 and won many awards with it. I did'nt build to be a show car, but i figured if your going to do it you might as well do it the way you want.My current project is 65 Dart GT ragtop, its gettin close to being finished.:clock:
