looking for a junk,,block,,,and crank,,bare head perfer 273/318 local to philadelphia,,PA, i will pick up,,,not looking to spend a ton of money,,, i need it for mock up,,,on some conversion on my b cuda,, perfer a empty block,,if some one has one,,,,,
 
I've got a 273 block, crank, etc...not sure if I'm ready to part with it, but have no immediate plans for it...if you can't find another your welcome to use it...depends on where you are near Philly I'd be about 2 / 2 1/2 hours. Shame you didn't ask last month I took a junk 318 to the scrapper...it was flooded and left to sit for 10 years so it was definately junk.

DAVE hi,, and thanks,,i wont start this project till the spring,im hoping,,,as for the 318 you junked,,,,im always a day late,, lol,,,keep me in mind,,im just starting to look around for one,,,thanks,,,e mail me some time if you decide to part with it,,or if not,, i would return it to you when im finished ,,,,if i dont come across another,, thanks for the offer,,,im at the last exit of the PA turn like going in to new jersey,,,

I broke down on that exit in 1977(?)..just filled up my gas tank on my 67 Chevy Panel truck, came over the bridge from Jersey and before I got to the exit the tank fell out from under the truck. Had the truck towed off the exit, stayed the night and the next day went to a wrecking yard, in walking distance, I pulled the tank out of a 53 Dodge pickup, tied it into place with baling type wire and drove the rest of the way to Wilkes Barre...after getting a flat around Allentown and a warning from a trooper about the bald tires and the studded snow tire I had as a spare. I was on leave from the Air Force and spent the weekend at the shore.
I'll keep you in mind if I run across a junk block somewhere.

I will have a 318 in about a month. Zip #18944 perkasie.scrap price will do.I might be able to buy lunch.
