I picked up a 69 Dart GT in 1988 for $125. It had been t-boned in the L front, and spun about and hit the L qtr on a telephone pole, was a totaled, but had a straight frame. A friend and I rebuilt the front end, got her thru state inspection and re-legalized for the road. The 318 is steady, I rebuilt the trans, and changed out the little differential for a 3:91 sure-grip. Then the body was straightened and painted. There was not alot of rust on it.
It sat for ten years, sometimes garaged, sometimes not. I am now beginning rework on the body, the qtr's need patched or replaced (Rusted out Just the qtrs and a little bit of the roof, but i got a friend whose a fabber, so no problem there just $$. So here we go!!!!! Thanks for having this nice place for us all to talk about our cars!! Can't believe I've held onto this car for abt 20 yrs!
