I have a 1971 plymouth scamp.Somehow water gets to the front floorpans after a rain. The windshield is in good condition as is the seal, could be coming from the fresh air outlets but not for sure.It seems to leak more with a light and steady rain and not as much with a heavy rain.Any suggestions ???

Windshield, these cars like to rust out under the rubber seal.
You were right. It took some time to find but the water was running under the seal along several places on the bottom, going to try to have it sealed, but i may pull the windshield for a closer look. Thanks

Could be the wiper piot seals or any of the fire wall seals. Have some one run a hose in the engine bay while you look fromthe inside. www.engine-swaps.com has seal kits.
Did find one bad seal, but most of the water was from the windshield. In looking at the seals did find a problem with the windshield washer pump that i did not know about, but that is fixed. Thanks for the tips.
