I'm toying with the idea of using a Weber progressive 2bbl...any thoughts or advice?

I would use a 32/36 DGV Weber on a slant six in a heartbeat.

One of the most reliable, best metering carbs I have ever had. They mix well, and all sorts of choke options are available.

It took over 200k miles to wear out the throttle shaft on one in a vehicle with a 5 speed transmission. Never needed a kit or a needle & seat in those miles either.

They are fairly low profile which can only help.

I think it's a good idea but if your engine is more than stock, you'll need two carbs, IMO. Oh and they ain't cheap either.

Might check out a 71 to 74 ford holley 5200.Same basic carb,a lot cheaper to pick up used.

Been done on 240z's.Google 240z Cannon manifold, cool stuff.
