I'm at a a bit of a loss as to where to find the correct TC for my application. Im swapping in a 360 and staying with my A904 tranny. The TC I was going to go with is no longer available from the website I was going thru: http://www.bulkpart.com/2/product/A904tcN/398.html "11 inch diameter, 122 toothe gear, 27 spline, 1.810 inch pilot, thin pads, 20:1 butterfly weight, high stall" 1977-up HIGH STALL FOR 360 ENGINE & TF-6
Notice: Converters do not qualify for free shipping!

They had a factory "high stall" with the butterfly weight that worked with my combo. It was at a decent price, but now no longer available. Can someone make a recommendation? My car is being built strictly for the street. Looking for a little extra performance, but realistically a factory high stall should be fine. (1970 Dart, 904 tranny, LA360)

Thanks

Why not just use the B&M flex plate for a 360? It allows a neutral balanced converter to be used on a 360

Thanks for the link Joe. Yeah, I knew that was an option, but I was hoping to have a factory "high stall" torque converter, and I didn't want to have to pop for a TC and a flex plate. I might go ahead with that idea anyway, my TC seemed to work well and the car is just for the street. I just wanted a little extra performance.

On a related note... What IS a factory "high stall" -Vs- factory low stall? 1,200 stall -Vs- 1,500 stall? :violent1::banghead:
