I put my Comet into storage last fall, backing it into the shop and unhooked the battery, put the cover on it, the usual. Went out at Christmas and warmed the car up. Went to re-start it and nothing, like the battery was dead or severe wiring issues. I finally got around to diagnosing it Sunday and it turns out that the starter decided to go locked rotor right then. I was fortunate as it could have happened on a road trip. Picked up my new starter and solenoid today, Comet back on the road this weekend. Then it is on the the Barracuda, front suspension, engine transmission and getting the hood straight & painted. I am glad the weather is warming up, putting me in the car building mood:coffee2:
