Went to Nats Yesterday

This was lowest amount of venders,cars,drag racing and spectators I have ever seen. At 1:30 pm went to buy event T-shirt since I own a Duster. Get up there and the shirt is way cool! I asked for the shirt and was told they were sold out.
Then there was something very disturbing that I read. I went to look at a 71 Roadrunner. It was b3 blue airgrabber very nice car. I looked on the dash and there was a piece of notebook paper with writting on it. It read"STOLEN, Air cleaner base plate and lid right this car yesterday. Any info on this would be great!"

You believe that! I will never take a car and leave it open at a show again. You would think at the Nats you would be safe due to some commaradery. NOT!

I had someone rip off a set of side louvers from my 280zx at a show. caught the guy because someone watched him do it but I still cant believe the nerve of some people

Apparently there are Butt heads in every crowd, I am having a blast down here, met some assume people, you have to take the bad with the good I guess.

I talked to a friend that had his 70 hemi challenger judged (super nice and correct)
I asked him how he did and he said he got first place ask him how he knew that already (this was on friday) he said because he was the only one

Apparently theft was an issue this year. Some jackass stole some signs from Mopar Collectors Guide. The thief was seen and he started to run off. He was chased down and eventually caught. The cops took him away, but not before a beat down was installed.
Some vendors were saying that they had things missing.
Just goes to show, there are assholes every where.

My 1st time here, but... I had a blast for 2 days.
And the cruise last night in Heath was crazy.
Cops trying to tell kids to stop throwin water in the street. Good try... :burnout:
