Well traction wasn't great but I turned my best time. 8.09 the car pulled pretty good I just need some more traction.

Motor, gears, etc?? That's a nice time, should put you in the high 12's
 
Car has been running 8.3s until today. Better track prep! This a lightly warmed over 360 3200 stall 727 and 3.91s with a little more tunning it should be in the 7s. It's my every day driver right now to.
 
you have the same set up I had in my dart. I had 3.91's (but with a 28 inch tire), 10 street fighter converter (about 3200), and a very mild 360 that I drove 1 hr to the strip. I ran it as I drove it, full exhaust and all. I ran the Bf comp T/A drag radial street tire on the back. I cut low 1.8's 60 ft. Did 84 mph in the 1/8 at low 8's. 1/4 time was 12.90's at 104. Anyways, your running strong!!!! Like the car!!!!
 
I'm running a 24in tall tire which I think is really hurting me. This is a full body car. Bucket seats console carpet spare tire. I drove the car there then out ran a 85 Monte Carlo with slicks and spray.
 
Buy some junk rims on Craigslist , get some slicks and traction problems should be solved formthe most part
 
Well I can't just buy some junk rims. I have plenty big bolt patterns wheels but the dang car is still small bolt pattern lol. Currently unless someone wants to sponsor me my daughter's Christmas means more then 600 bucks for rims and slicks. It is my everyday driver right now to.
