Car related anyway. I got a pair of Magnum Force tubular control arms with the spherical rod ends and ball joints.

My 20 year old son got them for me, I guess I raised him alright even if he did buy a Datsun. :toothy10:

I doubt I am getting anything for christmas car wise. But my Birthday Is January 1st and my girlfriend said she would get me something for my car for my Bday present.

I get to order $250 worth of goodies from summit. ont get me very far but thats OK.

I got me a PowerMaster 1-wire alternator. Woohoo!

I got a shift rods, boot for the firewall, shift knob, and the thingy that connects the z-bar to the bell housing. I guess this spring I will also get a belated gift as in a floor hump. All I need now if a flywheel and clutch set and my auto to manual transformation is complete.

I received a 1/18 scale `68 Barracuda from Amy. That's it as far as car related. Otherwise, I received a ton of clothes, several sessions with my Wife's personal trainer at the gym, a hardcover biography on Frank Zappa, and 2 CD's, Best of Korn and Rush: 70's best of complilation.

Plus we tried to knock the sheets off the bed this morning.... :love3:

I got me a Hurst pistol grip floor shifter, seats an covers,a new C2 tach,From the Girlfriend,my mom an pops,go my new 5.38 gears,a new detroit locker for the rear,an a ARB air locker for the front of my ram, also my buddy an his girlfreind got me T-body an a MSD off road igni. for the ram as well,my girlfriend also got my windows tinted on the ram!!!!So id say i made out like a bandit!HAHAHA

a hardcover biography on Frank Zappa,
Zappa! I thought only Cudazappa and I were the only ones that even knew of Zappa. Way cool! Billy had two big caves for eyes........... Ray

And a tree. Ethel...growing off of his shoulder!

I grew up with a crowd who had older siblings that kinda fast-tracked us to good music at an early age. While my friends at school were listening to the Beatles and the Stones, I was listening to Mahavishnue Orchestra and Cactus... Zappa was in there too, along with some other gems.

Ya `no.... To this day I don't own any Beatles or Stones music?

hardcover biography on Frank Zappa:

I thought you were a Zombie Woof :p

Here we go....

The amazing thing about Zappa is as bizarre as he was, it was naturally HIM. He didn't do drugs or alcohol. He was just out there.... He also managed to find the most incredible musicians. Ruth Underwwod, Ansley Dunbar, Steve Vai, and it goes on & on. The story goes when he auditioned a prospective player they were given the "black page" which refered to a page of sheet music to play that ressembled a "black page" with the amount of notes printed on it.
He was one of a kind. I'm looking forward to reading it.

I wasn't bustin your chops. I think I have almost all his
recordings on vinyl and or cd. Love it.
Hey " you is what you is"

I was commenting on how we could go on with quotes forever! He definitely had "his language". Kinda like reciting snipettes from Cheers or Sienfeld. :thumrigh:

I think the "cosmik debris" came from the "excentrifugal forz". Make sure your snowmen in your sig "Don't eat the yellow snow" cuz "Nanook rubs it".
Some of the album covers were entertaining as well. Ray
