Does anyone know the name and function of these two items? The one on the left has one hose connected to it with the other end attached to the intake manifold vacuum tree. One wire goes over to a relay and the other joins the other two relay wires going into the main harness. Someone messed with the wiring on this car and I'm trying to get it back to stock. I can't find a place to attach those two round connectors wires that you can see in the photo. If someone could post a factory wiring diagram or description of those two items so maybe I can get them hooked up again. I've found a few hoses that aren't correct either but I think I can figure it out but if someone has a photo of the underhood hose diagram, that would be appreciated too. I think these parts belong to the emission system but I don't know for sure. My Mitchell manual and '75 factory truck manual don't show these parts so they may be car only. I also have a couple other wires that were cut and don't seem to have a destination so a good diagram would be great.
Thanks, Mark

Its a fuel pacer or fuel miser, dont remember which, it makes the turnsignal lights on the fender light up when you give it to much throttle when cruising down the road. It works off engine vacuum. Low vacuum (like foot to the floor going up a steep grade) lights up.

Would my 74 Spacer (318,4spd) have a Miser set-up as well,...I have heard that the left t/sig light on the fender would flash or light up when It was time to shift (when the government thought I should shift) ...

Interesting.....sounds like a fairly useless system. Anyone have a wiring diagram for it?

L73 Fuel Pacer System was introduced in 1975.
Basically just a system that turns on a light when the vacuum drops below a pre-set level to warn you that you are contributing to global warning!

It's basically just a switch that closes when vacuum drops below a certain level. I used 1 back in 77 to trigger a home-made water injection system to quell detonation on a 12.5-1 383 in my Roadrunner. I've still got 1 or 2 out in the garage somewhere.
