Hey Guys. Another question for the experts. Finsishing up the install on my new 408 small block. I have a 750 mechanical secondary Demon on there now, however I am looking at some Quick Fuel carbs. Can anyone give me some suggestion on size and model? Here is my combo:
68 Cuda
408
Stock Eddy Heads
Hughes Roller 242 and 246 duration @ .050 lift w/matching valve springs
.555 and .565 gross lift
1.6 rollers
Forged Flat Tops
Approximately 11 to 1 comp.
Mech. Fuel pump
Dynamic 3800 Stall
Reverse Manual Valve Body
3.91 Gears

Hoping to notice a difference from the old 380 horse crate motor. I currently have a 750 mech. Demon that I'm going to sell to a Chevy friend, as I think he needs all the help he can get.
Thanks as Always,
Darren

Your probabley OK with your 750 and I think that your buddy could use your old 380 crate more than your carb.

Quick Fuel 850 should get the job done, thats what i run on my 416..very happy with the results..

Could you tell me about your combination 340? I really appreciate all of the feedback from everyone. Thanks again from Midlothian, Tx.

I think the 750 Demon would do well. If your on the strip more than the street, stepping up would be fine.
