Hello, i have a 74 dart with a 383 and 833. I also have tri-y headers. Looking at buying my clutch and shifter from brewers and now im trying to figure out my clutch setup, I have nothing including the fork. What is the best setup? I have a stock clutch/brake pedal. Do you need to reinforce the firewall? is there a kit or mounting bracket i could buy? Mechanical or Hydraulic?

Thanks
Ryan

I used the 11" scalloped clutch on my 383. I think they used to call it a big 10 and 1/2"? Worked great, just have to have a matching flywheel. Stock firewall is fine. Manual is a way easier set up, hydro does not add any benefits, unless you are looking for less pedal pressure, imho.

i would prefer manual, is there a setup that works with the tri-y's?

Brewers has a complete kit to work with the big block a body. It includes all the rods, clips, z bar and springs. What bellhousing are you using?

i believe i am using an early c body 10.5 bell housing

That's all brewers needs. Just give them a call. It will help if you can get the last three numbers of the Bellhousing casting to them. I know the 372 casting works very good.
