For those of you who went to mopar nats in carlisle what did you guys get. Try to post some pics to. I grabbed a duster grill for 10 bucks, 8-3/4 shock plates for 30 bucks, and misc interior panels and covers for 15. And every year i grab a t-shirt for 5 bucks! So share what you got, im very interested in similar finds.

I thought there prices were outrageous. Some of the new stuff venders were selling was resonable, but thats because it didn't have to be shipped. Maybe all the good stuff had been picked over before I got there.

I did get some new valve covers, a air cleaner and a engine lift plate.

Bargains were hard to find but it seemed to me there were a lot of sales. Tried to haggle on prices and no one would budge. There was a nice turnout and good supply of parts, always worth the trip.

What a great show. I bougth a mint 1967 valiant passenger door and trunk lid for $100. Year old Canada made gas tank mint and valance panel for the valiant for $90. Clean shape 1968 a-body 4 speed shifter for $20. A-body new battery tray for $15. Valiant 100 emblem (mint shape) and sunvisers $30. Emblems that spell plymouth out plus one that said commando v8 mint for $20. Two $5 shirts. Two pictures of a demon and a dart for $15. NOS 1967 driver side tail light $15. Engine stand for $20, new air drill $20, and two sets of sae & metric stuby wrenches for $6. There might be more that I missed too. My father and I managed to fit all of this plus camping gear in his 1970 Newport convertiable and manage to get the top closed.

I got to meet some great fabo members and spent most of the day with one who offered to let me try and sell the str-12 no luck but a great time

I got:

  • Caltrac bars from Mancini
  • 10" large bolt backing plates and then all new drums, shoes and hardware so I can finish my 8 3/4
  • 308 heads from Jimi V.
  • Engine wiring harness from Evans
  • Dist. cap from Firecore
  • 318 steel crank short block for a song
And apparently no one knows what was in their 'rebuilt' transmissions or where they came from. Passed on several of them since no one seemed to know what they had. Strange.

Had a great time, great show as always.

I didn't buy anything except two spider Man hats for my grandsons, I did sell almost all of the parts I took with me and my 66 Dart Gt vert..I was parked right behind Evans Wiring.
