i am thinking of putting in a 318 what do i need to buy to bolt it in as i want to have everything before i do the swap from a 225 /6 i'm putting in the 318 cause i can buy it cheap and running

go to www.engine-swaps.com . there you can find the conversion mounts and pretty much anything else you will need.


as far as parts go...
engine, trans, conversion mounts OR V8 Kframe, motor mounts (if you go K frame route), exhaust y pipe or dual exhaust, radiator, upper and lowr hoses, distributor (if the motor is pre electronics), maybe upgraded torsion bars...

if theres anything i missed please add on.....

Other than the obvious engine mount stuff... you will need a different transmission and torque converter. The /6 bellhousing is different. And if the 318 is making any more than stock hp, you should upgrade the rear to at least an 8-1/4".
