Hey All:

I know you're not supposed to run antifreeze if you race.

Does anyone put anything in to fight corrosiion?

Steve

I use distilled water and water wetter.

Does that do a good job or does it still rust up pretty bad?

Water wetter has a rust inhibitor. Be sure to change to anti-freeze for winter storage. I know how cold it gets in Champagne. I was stationed near there in 1966. Coldest I have ever been in my life.

i use water and either Water Wetter or a bottle of Prestone rust inhibitor - i think its $2.99 at Oreilly

Can someone tell me why not to run coolant/anti freeze in your radiator if you race.... ?

I run straight water in the duster..anti-freeze is a no no at the track...

Hmm,must be different in australia.

I cant remember them ever checking for it in the pits when
ive raced.
