mopar 1.5 roller rockers
eather a crosswinds RPM intake or a Victor 340

I also agree that 11's aren't a problem but, I can tell you from experience that the little air cleaner needs to go, for any kind of track activity. Motor in the friends car would bog til we removed his and from that point on, it was a jewel. Seems the foam was too flexible and the engine was trying to eat it.

Thanks for the kind words and info guys. The engine in the pick is of the 318 i have in it now.I have not put the 340 in it yet. Still wating on the heads to show up.But dont worry that little air cleaner will be comeing off soon.I have heard the foam in them is not very flame proof. anybody looking for a good running 318. All i will be keeping is the valve covers and dist, posable the pullys to.I can wate to get this car to the track. i have not raced a car in over 3 years. Here is a pick of my old 65 plymouth. I should of never sold that car. It was a 3500 pound B-body with a 11.1 440 that ran a best of 10.50 at 126. When i sold the car the engine had over 500 passes on it.Thanks for the help. mopar658)

toss the triangle erson air cleaner as the foam element is too thin and will deteriorate over time and fall into your carb, use the victor, and go for the 850 double pumper holly or 830 annular discharge holly.

i would think 11.20 or 30 with the 4.10s 4.56 you will be pedalling the last 200 feet unless youre gonna wring it over 7k
