I have a 72 Demon that needs rear quarters, full trunk pan, and tail panel installed. This company wants to charge me 2600.00 labor. Does not include finishing the area for paint. Only includes install of panels. They want me to remove rear interior , lights and fuel tank. Seems high to me but I have never priced this before. Anyone you can recommend? I live in Va and can travel for the right people.

I would ask how many hours they are charging for. Also I would check at some of the local body shops, most should be able to do the work. So shop around.

I don't know.... But I think $2600 for a huge amount of work is a good deal.

I can't argue with that! It's not like it'll be in at 9am and out at 5pm. :) I won't guess how many hours that job would be, but to do it right is gonna take some time.

Lot of spot welds to drill out, sheet metal to align and panel match before welding. Here in Mass that would be a $5k job to get it done right. Make sure and check the references of the place doing it though so you don't wind up with a job not worth a dollar....

Thanks for the advise. Like I said I have never shoppedon this so its all new to me.
